A glass production facility expanding its infrastructure for the transportation and processing of recycled raw materials.

[01] CONTEXT
As part of the facility expansion program, it was necessary to develop an extended steel gallery structure designed to accommodate conveying equipment, support systems, and engineering infrastructure.

The project required the integration of a recycled glass handling system into the existing production environment while accounting for dynamic, operational, and wind loads.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop the engineered structure of the cullet conveying gallery, including a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing, installation, and integration of the conveying system into the plant infrastructure.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the spatial structural system of the gallery, coordinating process, engineering, and operational requirements throughout the project.

The scope of work included:

— development of the load-bearing gallery structure

— design of the supporting infrastructure and spatial steel framework

— integration of the cullet conveying system

— preparation of complete structural design and fabrication documentation

— coordination of dynamic, wind, and operational loads

— adaptation of the structural system to process equipment requirements

— preparation of documentation for manufacturing and installation

[04] RESULT
An engineered cullet conveying gallery with a total area of 777 m², a height of 34.3 m, and a total steel structure weight of 468.52 tonnes was developed.

A complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation was prepared for manufacturing and installation, ensuring the integration of the conveying system, engineering infrastructure, and process areas into a unified production environment.

The project delivered a fully coordinated engineering solution ready for implementation and equipment integration without the involvement of additional design organizations.

As part of the construction of a new glass manufacturing facility, it was necessary to develop a high-rise stack structure capable of withstanding process loads, thermal effects, wind loads, and demanding industrial operating conditions.

The project required the integration of the flue gas extraction system, maintenance platforms, access stairways, and engineering infrastructure into a unified structural system.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop the engineering structure of the industrial stack, including a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing, installation, and integration of the exhaust system into the plant infrastructure.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the spatial structural system of the industrial stack, coordinating engineering, process, and operational requirements throughout the project.
The scope of work included:

— development of the load-bearing stack structure

— design of the spatial framework and support system

— integration of flue ducts and engineering infrastructure

— preparation of complete structural design and fabrication documentation

— coordination of thermal, wind, and operational loads

— design of maintenance platforms and access stair systems

— preparation of documentation for manufacturing and installation

[04] RESULT
An engineered industrial stack structure with a total steel structure weight of 573.11 tonnes, a height of 27.5 m, and a total area of 1,644 m² was developed.

A complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation was prepared for manufacturing and installation, ensuring the integration of the exhaust system, engineering infrastructure, and maintenance platforms into a unified industrial facility.

The project was fully prepared for implementation and integration into the glass production infrastructure without the involvement of additional design organizations.

As part of the construction of a new glass manufacturing facility, it was necessary to develop a multi-level batch house structure accommodating storage hoppers, raw material handling systems, engineering utilities, and transportation infrastructure.

The project required the integration of heavily loaded process equipment into a compact spatial structure while accounting for operational, dynamic, and installation loads.

To develop the engineering structure of the batch house, including a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing, installation, and integration of process equipment into the plant infrastructure.

[04] RESULT

The company operated an existing production line with a capacity of 800 tonnes per day and considered expansion a key element of its long-term growth strategy.

[01] CONTEXT
Growing market demand and the company’s strategic development plans required a doubling of production capacity.

The project was implemented at an operating facility, creating critical constraints: expansion had to be completed without interrupting production or compromising process stability.

The challenge was multidisciplinary in nature, involving manufacturing operations, energy infrastructure, logistics, and warehousing systems.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To increase the total plant capacity to 1,600 tonnes of glass per day through the construction of a new production line and the development of supporting infrastructure.

[03] SOLUTION
A comprehensive modernization and expansion program was developed and implemented in accordance with industrial safety requirements and continuous production principles.
The scope of work included:

— design and construction of a new production line with a capacity of 800 tonnes per day

— integration of the new line into the existing production and logistics system

— construction of a finished goods warehouse

— development of additional energy infrastructure facilities

— modernization and reconstruction of existing plant facilities

The production capacity of the facility was increased by 100%, reaching 1,600 tonnes per day.

A new production line with fully integrated engineering and energy infrastructure was successfully implemented.

Stable operation of technological processes was maintained throughout the expansion and scaling activities.

[01] CONTEXT
As part of the development of the regional glass industry, new production capacities had to be created from the ground up.

The projects involved the development of fully integrated industrial complexes combining process, engineering, and logistics systems in accordance with international industry standards.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop and commission modern float glass manufacturing plants with a production capacity of 250 tonnes per day, supported by complete production and engineering infrastructure.

[03] SOLUTION
A comprehensive plant construction program was implemented with the involvement of international process and engineering expertise.

The scope of work included:

— installation of float glass production lines

— construction of production buildings and industrial facilities

— development of nitrogen and hydrogen generation stations

— construction of diesel fuel storage facilities

— development of railway and road infrastructure

— integration of all engineering systems into a unified production environment

[04] RESULT
Float glass manufacturing plants with a production capacity of 250 tonnes per day were successfully commissioned.
Stable and continuous operation of the production process was achieved.

Complete production, utility, and engineering infrastructure was established to support long-term operation.

The projects established modern flat glass manufacturing centers in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.

Dependence on imported glass products was significantly reduced, while a sustainable industrial foundation was created for the development of the construction and processing industries across the region.
