A glass manufacturing facility developing raw material handling and storage infrastructure to support production growth.

[01] CONTEXT
To ensure the stable operation of the production line, it was necessary to create a dedicated sand receiving and distribution unit capable of handling continuous bulk material loads under demanding industrial operating conditions.

The structure was required to provide reliable material storage, efficient maintenance access, and seamless integration into the existing raw material handling system.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop the steel structures and receiving hopper, including a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing and installation.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the structural concept of the sand receiving hopper, taking into account operational loads and the specific requirements of bulk material handling.

The scope of work included:

— design of load-bearing steel structures

— development of the receiving hopper and supporting framework

— structural load calculations for sand storage and material feeding operations

— design of stiffening and reinforcement elements

— adaptation of the structure for industrial operating conditions

— preparation of complete structural design and fabrication documentation

— coordination of installation and assembly solutions

[04] RESULT
An 8.5-meter-high sand receiving hopper was developed with a total steel structure weight of 7.6 tonnes.

A complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation was prepared, enabling efficient manufacturing and installation while ensuring integration with the plant’s raw material handling system.

The project delivered a reliable engineering solution designed for stable operation under continuous production conditions.

To support the operation of the industrial complex, it was necessary to develop an extended pipe rack structure for the routing of pipelines, process utilities, and maintenance infrastructure.

The project required the design of structural systems capable of accommodating distributed loads, complex utility routing, installation requirements, and long-term operational conditions.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop the steel structures for the engineering pipe rack, including a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing, installation, and integration of the facility's engineering networks.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the structural concept of the engineering pipe rack in accordance with industrial operating requirements and utility routing constraints.

The scope of work included:

— design of load-bearing steel structures

— development of support assemblies and foundation solutions

— integration of engineering networks into the structural framework

— structural load and stability analysis

— preparation of complete structural design and fabrication documentation

[04] RESULT
An engineering pipe rack with a height of 8.5 m and a total steel structure weight of 200.5 tonnes was developed.

A complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation was prepared for manufacturing and installation, ensuring the integration of engineering networks and process utilities into the infrastructure of the industrial facility.

The project delivered a robust structural system designed for industrial operation and future expansion of the facility’s engineering infrastructure.

A manufacturing facility requiring the development of steel structures to accommodate process equipment and engineering infrastructure.

[01] CONTEXT
As part of the facility development program, it was necessary to create a specialized structural system capable of supporting process equipment, engineering utilities, and production infrastructure.

The project required the development of custom engineering solutions that accounted for process loads, operational requirements, and the spatial integration of manufacturing activities.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop and prepare for implementation the engineering structure of the production complex, ensuring the full integration of process and infrastructure elements without the involvement of additional design organizations.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the structural system of the production facility and prepared a complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation for manufacturing and installation.
The scope of work included:

— development of the load-bearing production structure

— integration of process areas and engineering zones

— adaptation of the structural framework to process equipment requirements

— coordination of process and construction solutions

— preparation of complete structural design and fabrication documentation

— preparation of structures for manufacturing and installation

— ensuring compatibility between production infrastructure and manufacturing processes

[04] RESULT
A custom-engineered structural system for a production complex with a total area of 1,350 m², a height of 8.35 m, and a total steel structure weight of 77.77 tonnes was developed.

A complete set of structural design and fabrication documentation was prepared for manufacturing and installation, ensuring the integration of process areas, engineering infrastructure, and specialized production spaces into a unified engineering system.

The facility was fully prepared for implementation, equipment installation, and future development of the production infrastructure without the involvement of additional design organizations.

[05] STRATEGIC IMPACT
The project demonstrated DPGI’s ability to independently develop specialized engineering structures and production facilities tailored to the requirements of specific industrial operations. By delivering fully coordinated engineering solutions without additional design contractors, the project reduced implementation timelines and minimized project coordination costs for the client.
