Petrochemical Enterprise

A refining and petrochemical facility implementing the expansion of gasoline production infrastructure and the modernization of process capacities.

[01] CONTEXT
As part of the development of the petrochemical facility, it was necessary to create a heavily loaded spatial structure capable of supporting process columns, engineering utilities, maintenance platforms, and production infrastructure.

The project required the development of a multi-level structural system designed to accommodate increased process loads, industrial safety requirements, and the installation conditions of high-rise petrochemical facilities.

[02] OBJECTIVE
To develop the engineering structure of the combined gasoline production unit, including a complete set of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing, installation, and integration of process equipment.

[03] SOLUTION
DPGI developed the spatial structural system of the unit, coordinating process, engineering, and operational requirements throughout the project.
The scope of work included:

— development of the load-bearing structure of the gasoline production unit

— design of multi-level process platforms and maintenance areas

— integration of process columns and engineering infrastructure

— preparation of complete reinforced concrete, structural steel, and fabrication documentation

— adaptation of the structural system to equipment and pipeline requirements

— coordination of installation, operational, and dynamic loads

— preparation of documentation for manufacturing and installation

[04] RESULT
An engineered structure for a combined gasoline production unit with a total area of 418 m², a height of 73.7 m, and a total steel structure weight of 743.45 tonnes was developed.

A complete set of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and fabrication documentation was prepared for manufacturing and installation, ensuring the integration of process equipment, engineering infrastructure, and elevated production areas into a unified industrial system.

The facility was fully prepared for implementation and installation of petrochemical equipment without the involvement of additional design organizations.

[05] STRATEGIC IMPACT
The project demonstrated DPGI’s capability to develop complex high-rise engineering structures for petrochemical facilities, integrating process systems, engineering infrastructure, and specialized production environments within a unified EPCM project delivery approach.
